Audio Equipment

We use high quality audio equipment to ensure that what we capture is not just noise or interference. We also use a condenser microphone to check for infrasound which are frequencies below the ability for a human to hear. These sounds can sometimes cause unease, discomfort, fear, or vibrational halucinations in the eye

Along with normal camera equipment, we also use infrared (IR) cameras. Infrared is at a light frequency just below red, which the human eye cannot see. Some believe this may allow us to see the paranormal. It also allows us to film in the dark if required.

We have a thermal camera which uses IR radiation and converts it into a thermal map of the room. Different than visible light, this is more like a graph overlaid over the image to display the various temperatures. This allows us to see the environment in a different way.

We have a tail camera that can be used in a few different ways. It has IR night vision if needed. It also triggers with any movement in front of it and can record video or pictures. This can useful to capture whatever may be coming through the area whether it be paranormal or an animal.

Temperature may play an important role in paranormal events. Traditionally it is claimed that an apparition may cause a cold spot in an area where it is drawing energy from the environment. We believe the amount of energy in an environment may play a role in paranormal events.

It is thought that apparitions and other paranormal events may create a detectable Electromagnetic Field (EMF). However, EMF is also caused by all of our normal electrical appliances and wiring in our homes. High EMF in our homes may also cause discomfort, headaches, and the feeling of being watched.

Checking the environment for hazards is an important part of any investigation. We can check for overall air quality, carbon dioxide, and natural gases. Carbon dioxide (CO2) in particular can cause dizziness, confusion, nausea, headaches, and eventually loss of consciousness and death. 

We also have some traditionally used ghost hunting equipment. Less scientific perhaps but overall fun to use and experiment with. The REM POD creates a static field around it and alerts if something breaks that field, or if any radio frequencies pass it as well unfortunately.

This is the TinySA Ultra+ spectrum analyzer. It detects frequencies being used over a broad range. This is more experimental for paranormal use. We can use this to help debunk if certain frequencies were present during an equipment anomaly or give us data if certain frequencies can be correlated to paranormal events.

This is Geiger meter and dosimeter capable of detecting a few different radiation types. Some claim that apparitions may cause radiation when present. Additionally, UFO witnesses have occasionally been burned with radiation or suffered radiation poisoning.
